The company was established six years ago and was designed to provide courses to individuals and expedition leaders alike. We have trained over 250 potential 'Jungle Warriors' so far and, judging by the feedback, have helped to ensure safe and enjoyable expeditions to all of the major rainforests of the world.
In addition to this we have advised and assisted expeditions for the British Army, Raleigh International, World Challenge Expeditions, Trekforce, Fulcrum Challenge, Cambridge University as well as a host of independent travellers.
The company was set up by Bob Hartley (fellow of the Royal Geographic Society) who has utilised his own wealth of experience together with that of his chosen instructors. Military experience from both the British and New Zealand 'Special Air Services' has been highly influential in the course contents.
The medical input for the course has been provided by 'Wilderness Medical Training' who, through Jon Dallimore and Barry Roberts, have been very supportive. Wilderness Medical Training provide an excellent service and are recognised as one of the best in the country.
The courses cater for all ages and sexes as well as all levels of experience. They are not military or survivalist courses although many 'backwoodsman' skills are available to be learnt.
